Every piece of furniture by Zeitraum is unique, and uses only deciduous, healthy hardwoods from renewable forests, with no chemical treatment of the wood. The surface finishes of Zeitraum furniture are smooth, natural looking, and have a pleasant natural scent. Finely sanded surfaces are primed with oil or beeswax balsam to achieve an open-pore treatment that allows the wood to breathe, absorbing and dispensing moisture from its surroundings.
